For Kestie Lane Studio it was a very personal and considered design journey from the very first meeting with the client.
The clients were captivated by the original heritage home, it was important for them to preserve the unique character while also bringing a contemporary sensibility to the design. A key part of the brief for the family was to create a home that could accommodate a growing family but also maintain an honest and thoughtful design language.

Kestie Lane Studio has reimagined this traditional Victorian-era terrace, maximising space and functionality to accommodate a growing family. Responding to the beautiful architecture created by Matt Gibson Architects, KLS has created a paired back interior of subtle nuance.
European influences inspired the sophisticated palette of finishes, custom crafted stone and joinery. Warm finishes of oak timber floors, soft polished plaster walls and drapery create a
pared back delicate aesthetic which has been punctuated with bolder statements.
These bespoke designs create theatrical moments in the home and transform the ordinary into something truly unique and sculptural.

The Victorian Terrace was completely transformed from a spatially challenged dark residence to a light filled, highly detailed functional home.
